Naturalis is a microbiological insecticide / acaricide based on the antagonist fungus Beauveria bassiana (strain ATCC 74040),

which acts against various phytophages, such as Aleurodidi, Tetranichidi mites, Thrips and some Tephritid Diptera.

The formulation of Naturalis is an oily dispersion (OD), specially developed to allow a long conservation of the spores and guarantee optimal field performance.

The particular modes of action of Naturalis make it an ideal tool for the containment of some harmful insects and mites on horticultural, fruit and ornamental crops both in organic farming and in companies that adopt integrated pest management techniques, or that want to use a phytosanitary defense strategy more attentive to the healthiness of the working environment and to the needs of the consumer (Naturalis has no MRLs and shortage time).

The insecticide / acaricide is particularly suitable for defense programs set up to reduce the risk of developing pests resistant to traditional synthetic active ingredients. Finally, Naturalis is compatible with the auxiliaries that are thrown into greenhouses and has no undesirable effect on bumblebees and pollinators in general.

Naturalis acts by contact; the spores must adhere to the host's cuticle, so that the biochemical processes of penetration can start with the production of chitinolytic enzymes.

Naturalis is active against all stages of host development, from eggs to adults including the juvenile stages;

It is clear that when the eggs of the target insect, as in the case of thrips, are deposited protected within the plant tissue, they are not susceptible to attack by B. bassiana.

Against Diptera Tephritidae, Naturalis acts in different ways:

The spores of the antagonist fungus, once distributed on the surface of the fruit to be defended, perform an action of repellent to oviposition and therefore preventive.

Naturalis can be applied with any type of equipment used for the distribution of crop protection products.
Shake the product before use and keep the suspension stirred during mixing and treatment.

Naturalis applications must be set taking into consideration some guidelines:
Naturalis acts by contact so it is essential to take care of the wetting.
• Preferably intervene in the evening or in the morning; the death of the target insects occurs within 3-5 days.
• Naturalis does not have a killing action so it should be used at low levels of infestation or otherwise in combination with a killing insecticide and / or throwing auxiliaries.
• Repeat the treatment with Naturalis at least 2-3 times, especially if it is used alone and not in strategy with other insecticides or beneficial insects.

WARNINGS:
Beware of mixtures with fungicides: only some active ingredients are compatible,
check the compatibility table. Cupric fungicides, sulfur and insecticides are
generally miscible.
