The Deep Water Culture (DWC) technique has become very popular because it is completely passive, does not use timers and submersible pumps for irrigation, uses little medium (expanded clay) and the root growth is exceptional.

Oxypots have a drain tube that makes it easy to check the level of solution in the pot and to complete changes to the nutrient solution. The removable mesh basket allows growers to monitor the root system.

Tips and tricks for using New Oxypot

Leave the oxygenating pump running 24 hours a day during all stages of the plant's life, the roots need constant access to the well-oxygenated nutrient solution.

Young seedlings (usually 1 week old) do not reach the nutrient solution with their roots directly, so it is advisable to germinate/propagate in a propagator greenhouse or to directly water the base of the seedling for the first period, until the roots reach the solution.
